The Unity Christian Music Festival in Muskegon
MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) - Thousands of Christian music fans will descend on the lakeshore this week for the annual Unity Music Festival.
The music starts Wednesday but on Tuesday volunteers were completing final set-up for the event.
Organizers say they expect around 60,000 visitors-- possibly more than attended Unity 2011 because Summer Celebration was canceled this year.
Gates open Wednesday at 4 p.m. for a free concert. The "Day Zero" concerts are a way Unity organizers can draw new fans to their festival.
Unity Performers include Steven Curtis Chapman, Chris Tomlin, and NEEDTOBREATHE.
