The Ludington Lighthouse is being recognized as one of the best in the country.
Weather.com held a contest on Facebook as part of National Lighthouse Day which is today. The lighthouse on Ludington's North Pier was among the top ten selected.
The lighthouse was built in 1924 and 57 feet tall. It has an estimated 12,000 visitors each year.
