LOWELL TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- Kent County deputies are seeking leads to finding the people responsible for vandalizing cars and mailboxes in a Lowell Township neighborhood.
The acts of vandalism happened around Trent and Barnsley streets.
Investigators say someone spray-painted -- or "tagged" -- images and obscenities on nine vehicles, a camper and a garage door on Monday. The owners of the damaged vehicles and structure began discovering the vandalism Monday morning.
That incident comes after a July 24 incident when someone set off explosions in a pair of mailboxes -- one using fireworks and the other using a homemade bottle bomb.
Anyone with information on the spray-painting and mailbox explosions are asked to call the Kent County Sheriff's Department at (616) 632-6100, or Silent Observer at (616) 774-2345.
