TROY, Mich. (AP) -- Police say the son of a missing southeast Michigan man has been arrested in the investigation into his father's death.
Authorities say they believe 55-year-old Patrick Mikes Sr. was killed in his Troy basement. His sons reported him missing last month and said he'd left on his bike two days earlier.
Twenty-one-year-old Patrick Mikes Jr. earlier was charged with using credit cards belonging to his 16-year-old brother. Police say he was arrested again Wednesday and is to appear in court. Police say they have DNA blood evidence.
Defense lawyer Christopher Andreoff tells the Detroit Free Press he doesn't know what evidence police have. Searchers assembled Thursday in Montrose Township, near Flint, to look for a body.
