WAYLAND, Mich. (WZZM) - A grant from the Gun Lake Casino will allow Wayland Union Schools to stop charging residents entry fees to  most school related athletic events.

In the past for a high school sporting event, an adult ticket price would be $5 and $3 for students K-12. Athletic Passes would cost $155 for a family or $85 for an adult.

People interested in attending must have a school pass and wear the school's green and white colors.  Passes can be picked up at the school, city hall, Daily Brews, Vibrant Grains, Wayland Hotel, McDuff's, Ucellos, Northern Physical Therapy, United Bank-Wayland, Reno Agency, Colonial Kitchen, Dick's Market, and B.C. Pizza in Dorr.

The grant does not cover the cost of MHSAA sponsored tournaments.

If you have any questions, please contact Wayland Union Schools Administration at 269-792-2181.
