ALLEGAN COUNTY, Michigan (WZZM) - One man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Allegan County on Sunday.
The crash happened on 118th Avenue near 48th Street in Valley Township.
The motorcyclist, Christopher Lee Easterly, 39, from the Fennville area was thrown from the motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Easterly was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Witnesses tell the Allegan County Sheriff's Department that the motorcycle driver ran off the side of the roadway, tried to regain control, but hit a fence and was thrown from the bike.
