An accident at Port Sheldon Road and 152nd caused a power outage.
PORT SHELDON TOWNSHIP, Michigan (WZZM) - Port Sheldon Road is open again after a morning car crash that caused a power outage and road closure.
A car was headed northbound on 152nd and ran a stop sign about 5:50 am Tuesday. The car hit a truck pulling a boat that was heading westbound on Port Sheldon.
The truck then ran into a power pole and broke the pole in half, causing a power outage in the area. Consumers Energy was at the scene working to restore power.
The truck driver was not hurt. The driver of the car suffered minor injuries.
Fog is believed to be a factor in the crash.
