LUDINGTON, Mich. (WZZM) -- The two boaters whose bodies were found near Big Sable Point have been identified as Bill Sorokin, 67, from Pennsylvania and Ray Finholm, 58, of Ludington.
The search for the two men began Thursday after they did not return from a fishing trip. Coast Guard crews searched in an area a few miles north of Big Sable Point.
Crews found Sorokin's body in the water Thursday night. His life vest was partially on. Finholm's body was found Friday morning on the beach. His friends think he may have tried to swim to shore.
