CROTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) - Authorities in Newaygo County are investigating a deadly crash involving a motorcycle. The accident happened around 5:45 p.m. Friday on Elm Avenue and East 72nd Street.
Witnesses tell WZZM 13 an SUV hit struck and killed a motorcyclist and after authorities arrived on the scene, one person left in the back of a police car.
Police have not yet officially released the condition of the motorcyclist, but the intersection was closed for more than two hours. It reopened around 8 p.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
