GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)-The sound of music filled the air Saturday night for a first of its kind event in Grand Rapids.
Hundreds of people filled Rosa Parks Circle for the inaugural GRandJazzFest. People brought out their own chairs to enjoy ten hours of live performances.
"This is all about having people experience jazz, [which is] something that they've never heard before or something that they love and want to experience more of. This is just an opportunity to come out to a free festival, have a good time and enjoy the music," said organizer Audrey Sundstrom.
Take Five and Company producer Eddie Rucker emceed GRandJazzFest, which is expected to return next year.
