(USA TODAY) - Rosie O'Donnell is saying it's a "miracle" that she didn't die.
In her blog, with a post titled "my heart attack," the star, 50, says it happened last week after she helped a woman who was stuck in her car.
Afterward, she writes:
"i had an ache in my chest
both my arms were sore
everything felt bruised
muscular - i thought"
She continued going through the day but "the pain persisted." Finally, she writes, her skin was "clammy" but she was "very, very hot. I threw up."

She adds,
"maybe this is a heart attack
i googled womens heart attack symptoms
i had many of them
but really? - i thought - naaaa"
She took Bayer aspirin - just like she had seen in ads on TV - and says, "saved by a TV commercial - literally."
She adds, "They call this type of heart attack/the Widow Maker/i am lucky to be here." O'Donnell said doctors found her coronary artery was 99% blocked, and they inserted a stent.
Rosie's rep Cindi Berger tells Lifeline Live, "She is now at home and resting comfortably."
