GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - Grand Rapids Police have now released composite images of a suspect who allegedly sexually assaulted one woman and tried to sexually assault another.
The first incident happened shortly before 2:30 Saturday morning near the intersection of Fulton Street and Lowell Avenue NE. Investigators say a 21 year old woman was walking in the area when a man attacked and sexually assaulted her.
Roughly a half hour later a 47 year old women reported a man fitting the same description attacked and tried to sexually assault her while she was walking in the same area.
The suspect is described as a black male between 25 and 35 years old. He is 5'7" to 5'10" with a stocky build with his hair shaved short in a fade style.
Grand Rapids Police provided two different composite drawings based on the two victim's descriptions. You can see both of those images attached to this story.
