IONIA COUNTY, Mich. (WZZM) - Michigan State Police say a motorcyclist is critically injured after he lost control of his bike and crashed without wearing a helmet.
The accident happened around 2 p.m. Friday on Charlotte Highway, north of Eaton Highway.
The motorcyclist, a 51-year-old man from Portland was air lifted to Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. Authorities say alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
