LANSING, Mich. (WZZM)- Police in Lansing are looking for the suspect or suspects who vandalized the state capitol building and a state memorial.
The Lansing State Journal is reporting authorities found graffiti early Thursday morning on the columns of the state building and on a memorial located on the lawn's northeast side.
The graffiti artist or artists spray painted stick figures on the building's columns and painted the phrase, "give art a chance" on the nearby memorial.
State workers helped clean the graffiti off the building and memorial.
Police are hoping the public can help in finding those responsible for the crime.
