(WZZM) - Kal is back in the kitchen this week with her recipe for Home Made Chili Sauce.
Makes approximately 4-5 pints.
• 1 peck fresh Tomatoes
• 1 ½ cups chopped Celery
• 1 ½ cups chopped Onions (about 2 med)
• 1 large chopped Green Pepper
• 1 large chopped Red or Yellow Pepper
• 1/3 cup Cider Vinegar
• 1 heaping tablespoon Kosher Salt
• ½-2/3 cup Sugar (amount depends on how sweet the tomatoes are; add accordingly)
• Dash of Cinnamon
• 1 heaping tablespoon Pickling Spices tied in a cheesecloth/fabric square
