Grand Rapids (WZZM)- The Mosaic Film Experience is a weekend- long festival for high school and college-aged students that focuses on the "mosaic of our cultures."
The festival will present over 100 hours of winning films from international, national, and regional student films. It will provide students with a community dialogue built on shared art and experiences.
The festival runs October 12-14 at Celebration Cinema South in Kentwood.
Students can submit their work until September 30th. There is no entry fee to submit student work.
The first place prize is $1,000. The second place winner will receive $500. And third place receives $250. There is also a College Scholarship Award, which is worth $2,000.
