(WZZM) - A Forest Hills Eastern High School student who was part of the movement to bring a special baseball field to West Michigan has died.
Nate Hurwitz was a board member of the West Michigan Miracle League, alongside WZZM sports director Tom Clyde.
Hurwitz battled Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and was confined to a wheelchair, never able to play baseball. But he joined the Miracle League board in the spring to help other disabled kids get the chance to play.
