GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM) -- Two teenagers are being held in a juvenile detention center for allegedly sexually assaulting a Grand Valley State University student last week.
The 14-year-old and 16-year-old boys were arraigned Monday and ordered held without bond. Grand Rapids Police arrested the teenagers Friday after police received tips generated from a computerized sketch of one of the suspects.
Police say the boys attacked a 21-year-old GVSU student around 9:30 p.m. on September 10 as she walked home from a bus stop, along Fulton Street near Valley. The victim told police two juvenile males approached her and tried to engage her in conversation several times. They then physically and sexually assaulted her. One of her roommates stopped the attack.
