ALLENDALE TOWNSHIP, Michigan (WZZM) - One man is in the hospital after an accident in Allendale Township early Friday morning.
According to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department, Eric Michael Graverson, 21, was seriously injured when his 2004 Ford Explorer ran off the road and hit a tree. Graverson was pinned inside the vehicle for some time until Allendale Fire Department was able to extricate him. Graverson was flown by AeroMed to the hospital.
The crash happened on Pierce in Allendale Township.
Police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
