ZEELAND, Mich. (WZZM)-Marching bands, horses and floats replaced cars on the streets of Zeeland Saturday, as the Pumpkinfest Parade returned.
This year's theme was "Made In Zeeland" and former mayor Les Hoogland served as grand marshal.
Candy Zych has made the trek from Holland to Zeeland for the parade for four consecutive years.
"Oh it's a lot of fun. I get to come and see my granddaughter; she's in the parade this year. Last year, my other granddaughter was in the parade for preschool," said Zych.
Hot drinks were handed out to people braving the blustery fall weather. The Pumpkinfest Parade is sponsored by Spectrum Health Zeeland Community Hospital.
