LANSING, Mich. (WZZM) - Some of Michigan's troops are returning home from Afghanistan Friday.
More than 200 Michigan Army National Guard Soldiers from the Wyoming-based 126th Cavalry Squadron return home with ceremonies at Caledonia High School.
The troops have been on a 12-month tour of duty in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom completing a variety of missions.
The ceremony for the Headquarters and Delta Troop will be at 9:00am and the Alpha Troop will be at 11:00am.
