WALKER, Mich. (WZZM) - The presidential debate Monday night focused on foreign policy, but we're guessing a lot of Michigan television viewers were focused on baseball and football.
Along with game seven of the National League Championship Series, the Detroit Lions were playing the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football. So what did people choose?
Every Tigers fan knows how big the 7th game of the NLCS was.
The San Francisco Giants beat the St. Louis Cardinals, 9-0, to face the Detroit Tigers in the World Series.
The Detroit Lions fans were also on television, making their second Monday Night Football appearance in as many years.
We stopped at Buffalo Wild Wings in Walker to find a packed house, and the two games next to each other on some of the screens.
The Lions are currently in last place in the NFC North Division.
Last year, they beat the Bears, and fans were hoping this game would be no different.
"Absolutely the Lions, because they're playing the Bears, and they're going to win, big, they're going to win big," said Mark Tituf of Muskegon.
"I like the fact that I can watch both games. I'm here more for the Lions obviously but I also want to know what's going on in Game 7," said Brent Kilbrand.
"I would watch the baseball game. Absolutely, I want to know who they're going to play," said Amanda Hutchins.
"I would have stayed at home and watched the baseball game, but it would have been nice to come out and see the atmosphere of the Lions, hopefully Stafford gets back on track," said Tim Torson.
"It can't get any better, other than the debate not being on. But two for three, we're all right," Jeff Poole.
