PLAINFIELD TWP., Mich. (WZZM) - The West Michigan Sports Commission has broken ground on a new sports complex in Plainfield Township.
The Art Van Sports Complex will be a $7.8 million baseball and softball complex at 10 Mile Road and U.S. 131.
The complex is expected to attract baseball and softball tournaments from throughout the Midwest and generate an estimated economic impact of $20 million for the West Michigan economy in the first five years of full operation.
