GREENVILLE, Mich. (WZZM) - A 71-year-old Greenville man is under arrest on forgery charges after allegedly passing counterfeit $100 bills in the area.
The man also faces more charges after Montcalm County Sheriff's Officers searched the man's home in the 200 block of East Summit Street.
Investigators had been working on tracking down counterfeit $100 bills in the area. Bills had been passed at the Admiral North at 6990 S. Greenville Road and Michael's Farm Market at 1944 N. Greenville Road.
The man's name will be released after he is formally arraigned. Anyone with further information is asked to call the detectives at the Montcalm Co. Sheriff's Office at 989-831-7516.
