D&M Metal Products in Comstock Park celebrated Halloween a leftover pumpkin launching.

COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. (WZZM) -- A Kent County business is using leftover pumpkins to unite its workers.

Every year, D&M Metal Products in Comstock Park celebrated Halloween with team-building exercises. This year, the business decided to hold a leftover pumpkin launch.

Employees came up with some elaborate contraptions. The only rule was -- don't use anything that will bring the police or fire departments out.

A propane-fueled launcher won, tossing its gourd 136 feet.
