GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- It's the day before the Presidential election and excitement is building before the big vote.
Local parties worked hard Monday to get their supporters out to the polls, and they got help from stars of the political season.
"Let's go, team!" cheered Sen. Debbie Stabenow during her Monday morning appearance at Kent County Democratic Party headquarters on Michigan Street NE.
"Who's ready to go out and win this election?" Josh and Matt Romney -- two of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's sons -- asked the excited crowd during their Monday rally at the Kent County GOP's Grand Rapids Victory Center on Lake Michigan Drive NW.
The Stabenow and Romney parties happened simultaneously on opposite sides of the city.
At the GOP event, the candidate's sons spoke about why they are campaigning in his home state on election eve.
"My dad's my hero, and I love going out and telling people about him," said Josh Romney.
At the Democratic event, Stabenow was flanked by Third Congressional District candidate Steve Pestka, and the Michigan Supreme Court candidates endorsed by the party.
"Don't give your ballot back until you vote Kelley, Johnson and McCormack!" cheered Stabenow.
