JACKSON, Mich. (WZZM) -- More help for people on the East Coast will come from Michigan.
Consumers Energy is sending natural gas crews to New York Tuesday to help in the aftermath of superstorm Sandy.
Consumers has already sent more than 300 utility employees and contractors.
Tens of thousands of people along the East Coast still have no power one week after the storm hit. Aid stations have been set up to provide basic necessities to the victims in that region.
The crews from Consumers will stay in New York for two weeks to help restore gas service.
