WIXOM, Mich. (AP) -- Police say they've received 2,800 tips in their hunt for a gunman suspected of carrying out 24 shooting attacks on vehicles and people along a stretch of interstate highway.
A $102,000 reward is out for information in the shootings that have been reported in four counties in and near the Interstate 96 corridor, from Ingham to Oakland counties.
One driver was injured. Most attacks occurred three weeks ago, and 10 were in Wixom.
Police increased patrols for fans attending Saturday's Michigan State football game.
State police Lt. Michael Shaw tells the Detroit Free Press that there were 200 more tips between Friday and Monday.
Police say they're looking for a man in his late 20s or early 30s driving a dark car. They've put out a sketch of him.
