Walker, Mich. (WZZM) - A breed of dog that has a bad reputation is the focus of an adoption event this weekend.
Saturday, the Humane Society of West Michigan is holding a day called Luv-a-Bull.
The goal is to find new homes for some of the pit bulls the center is caring for.
"All of our dogs will be reduced to 75-dollar adoption fees," said Nicole Cook with the Humane Society of West Michigan. "So we hope to find lots of dogs new homes."
The Luv-a-Bull event is Saturday from 10:30 to 4:00 at the humane society on Wilson Drive.
The event also includes education seminars for pet owners.
