GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- Police have a man in custody after an armed argument with a neighbor, then refusing to come out of his home when police arrived.
Around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to the area of Widdicomb St . and Crosby Ave. NW for a report of a dispute between two neighbors.
Dispatchers say one man assaulted another. They say a gun was involved, but no one was injured.
When officers arrived, the man with the gun refused to leave his home. More Grand Rapids officers and the Michigan State Police were called to the scene to set up a perimeter.
The 43-year-old man eventually came out on his own. Officers took him into custody for questioning, and he is being held on unrelated warrants.
Police say they pulled a total of seven adults and seven children from the home, though no one was injured.
