West Catholic fans go crazy!
GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- The West Catholic Falcons are headed to the state semi-finals for the third straight season, after knocking off Newaygo, 21-7.
Andy Corey's 44-yard touchdown run opened the scoring for the Falcons. The Lions answered with a Heath Harrington 78-yard touchdown run to tie the score.
Travis Russell's touchdown pass to Drake Wooten gave the Falcons a 14-7 lead before halftime. Russell then put the game away with a touchdown pass to David Kuzma in the fourth quarter.
The Falcons will face the winner of Saturday's game between Clare and Menominee.
