GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- One of the most popular traveling exhibits in museum history will be coming to Grand Rapids next year.
Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, will open at the Grand Rapids Public Museum in February.
A few of the items recovered from the luxury liner that sunk 100 years ago were displayed at a news conference Monday. Among the artifacts shown was a tiny glass perfume bottle that was linked to a perfume salesman on board.
When the exhibit opens, 150 artifacts will be on display.
"These artifacts are remarkable pieces of history that were once thought to be lost forever," says Theresa Nelson from Premiere Exhibitions. "To see them with your own eyes offers a haunting emotional connection to the story of Titanic."
The Titanic exhibit will open on February 9, and will run through July 7.
