GUN LAKE, Mich. (WZZM)- Friday is the last day you can drop off old electronics at the Gun Lake electronics recycling drive.
The Gun Lake Tribe is holding the drive in support of "America Recycles Day." It is a free public service offered through Friday, November 16.
You can drop off anything from old cell phones and power cords to computers and microwaves.
The tribe has teamed up with electronic recycling company, Comprenew, to dispose of the items. Comprenew will erase and destroy all computer hard drives that are turned in. The company has a zero-landfill policy that requires all e-waste to be recyled or refurbished for re-use.
The drive is taking place at the Gun Lake Tribe Government Office, located at 1743 142nd Avenue in Dorr. Items will be accepted until 5 p.m.
