(WZZM)- Enjoy the good weather while you can. Here are some fun things happening around West Michigan this weekend.

The Art Van Santa Parade is here! While the season might not be upon us quite yet, who says you can't enjoy Santa (and 100 other fun business and community entries) before Thanksgiving?

The parade starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday at the intersection of Michigan and Moroe. It will head south on Monroe, past Rosa Parks Circle, ending up at the Van Andel Arena at Market and Weston.

Come out and enjoy the show. Hundreds usually line the streets for a very jolly view.

Back to something a little more time-relevant. It's the annual Grand Valley Turkey Trot.

It's taking place at the Allendale campus at 10 a.m. Saturday. Registration is open will be open before the race.

It's a 5K, or a 3.1 mile run through campus. Competitive runners, joggers, and walkers are all welcome.

The GVSU running team is behind the event, and they have teamed up with Kids Food Basket. Organizers say they will be collecting boxes of fruit snacks and granola bars for KFB throughout the event, so don't forget to do your part for the kids!

Registration for day-of participation will cost you $25.

Check out the newest yoga studio to hit Grand Rapids. It's called Yoga Heat, located at 820 Monroe Northwest.

Saturday, the business is having a grand opening spectacular. The event will have free classes for you to try, free food, a killer DJ, and some prize giveaways. You can stop by any time between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Yoga Heat offers classes for all levels, but specializes on intense workouts for those serious yoga die-hards.

Classes officially start Monday, November 19th.
