GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)-A Grand Rapids woman is looking for her uncle who was on an oil rig that exploded.

Consing Tompkins says her uncle was a welder on the oil platform located in the Gulf of Mexico. She says her family hasn't heard from him since Friday's fiery explosion. Tompkins says her family has tried contacting Black Elk Energy, which owns the rig, but the company is not giving them any solid information as to where her uncle is.

Friday's blast injured 11 workers, severely burning four of them. Saturday, the Coast Guard called off the search for two other workers who've been missing since the fire.
