HOLLAND, Mich. (WZZM)- The Holland Rescue Mission provided 1,300 people with a hot Thanksgiving meal Wednesday night.

It took more than 400 people to organize and prepare the meal at DeVos Fieldhouse in Holland, for all for those who couldn't afford the meal or do not have family to celebrate with.

The "Great Thanksgiving Banquet" featured all the fixings, including turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, and pies.

At the end of the night, the Holland Rescue Mission also provided guests with care packages that included toiletries and household items, which are often not covered by assistance programs.
