BELMONT, Mich. (WZZM)- The night before Thanksgiving is known to be one of the busiest nights of the year for bars.
Wednesday, a Belmont sports bar used that extra business to give back to those in need. Flo's Pizzeria Ristorante & Sports Bar donated 10 percent of its total sales from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. to Feeding America West Michigan. It's all part of the pantry's Million Meal March campaign.
The final numbers haven't been tallied yet, but the restaurant hopes to bring in at least $3,000 for the pantry. At least four other businesses participated in the Million Meal March.
