UPDATE (10:00 P.M.)-- Grand Rapids police say the Jeep that ran over a Grand Rapids woman has been located.
Officers will not disclose were the vehicle was found, but they say no one was inside it.
Investigators say the woman suffered serious injuries, but is talking.
GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)-- Grand Rapids police are trying to track down the SUV that ran over a woman.
Officers were called to the intersection of Eastern Avenue SE and Merritt Street SE around 5 p.m. Saturday. There, they found a woman suffering from a serious head injury.
Police say the woman was a passenger in the SUV that hit her, but it's unclear if she was pushed out of the car, or if she fell out. Officers are looking for a dark green older style Jeep.
The woman, who is in her mid-20s, was taken to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital for treatment.
