  • GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) -- Have a hard-to-buy-for Presidential historian in your family?  You can now pick up some of the personal items of President Gerald Ford and former first lady Betty Ford.

The Ford family donated more than 50 items for the auction, including an American flag that flew over the White House and a set of golf clubs and bag with the presidential seal and "Jerry Ford" on it.

Procees from the auction go to support a $15 million update and expansion at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum.  A live auction is planned on December 11, but some items are now available in an online auction at this site.
