GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM) - Hundreds of unsuspecting West Michigan children are in for a surprise this holiday season.

Members of a Grand Valley State University fraternity and a local youth group pieced together 150 bicycles Saturday afternoon.

The bikes will be given to children on December 16th during the annual Christmas party put on by "More Self Less."

This is the third year for the holiday giveaway.

It started with just 12 children, and has grown to 200.

"It's incredible," said Brady Schmitz, who is the founder of More Self Less. "As an organization, we try to bottle that feeling so that everyone has an opportunity to feel that because that's what the inspiring part is."

Hubachs Service donated their facility for Saturday's bike assembly.

The business owner's daughter was one of the first children helped by "More Self Less."
