GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)-The Emerald Ash Borer infestation has reached Grand Rapids.
Monday, city workers will be removing 31 dying trees along Fuller Avenue SE. The trees are infested with Emerald Ash Borers.
The removal project is expected to take up to a week, leading to lane closures between East Fulton and Michigan Street. The city plans to replace the trees next year, after meeting with the community to decide what to plant.
