LANSING (Lansing State Journal) - The Capitol grounds were buzzing before 6 a.m. today with protesters gearing up for the enormous rally against right-to-work legislation.

Media satellite trucks from throughout the state lined the roadways near the Capitol as dozens of folks wearing hard hats, vests and union logos worked in sub-freezing temperatures to ready for the day.

Some held picket signs, while others worked to inflate icons of union representation.

About 10,000 people are expected to protest in Lansing today, mostly against the proposed right-to-work legislation.
