WHITE CLOUD, Mich. (WZZM) -- A man and woman arrested in an east Texas town are being held for extradition for questioning in a Newaygo County double murder.

Harrison County Sheriff's deputies arrested Chad Wilkinson, 35, and Meshell Grant, 32, in Uncertain, Texas, on December 15.  They were taken into custody on felony warrants out of Michigan -- manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance for Wilkinson, and obstruction and retaliation for Grant.

The Newaygo County Sheriff's Department says the couple are wanted for questioning in the murders of Joseph Cherneski and Patricia VanDyk.

Cherneski and VanDyk were found dead in their Brohman home on November 16.  VanDyk's son, Buddy, spoke to WZZM 13 after the murders, speculating the medications his mother and her boyfriend needed for their health problems may have been the motive behind the killings.
