Grab the kids and head to Deanna's Playhouse in Holland for a kid-friendly New Year's celebration.
Deanna has planned crafts, a balloon drop, and an apple juice toast for noon on New Year's Eve.
The cost is $5 per child. Children under 1 get in free.
The event is appropriate for kids ages 1-8.
Deanna's Playhouse is located at 11172 Adams Street in Holland.
Kick the new year off in the right direction by participating in the Resolution Run in East Grand Rapids.
It's a four-mile run around Reeds Lake. All types of athletes are welcomed! Proceeds go to PORT, the Pediatric Oncology Resource Team at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.

And in Downtown Grand Rapids, head to Rosa Parks circle for a family-friendly event.
There will be a ball drop at midnight and big-name performers hitting the stage all night.
The event is free, and starts at 6 p.m.
Head to the J.W. Marriott for some sophisticated fun.
It's the "Jammin' at the J-Dub" caribbean-themed party.
$289 will get you a two-person room at the hotel, free parking, late check-out, and a chance at the cash bar.
The party starts at 5 p.m.
