GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)- The manufacturing industry in Grand Rapids is closing out the year on a high note, while the rest of the country is experiencing a downward trend.
Numerous firms are working at full capactity and are reporting at an all-time high in sales.
Grand Rapids City Commission board members approved 18 tax abatements this year to promote growth. The abatements totaled $40 million in private investments and 477 new jobs.
