UPDATE: Victims identified in deadly Marne-area crash

UPDATE AT 8:25 P.M. (WZZM) -- Ottawa County Deputies identify the victims in the deadly crash in Wright Township.

They say 84 year old Edward Bylsma of Coopersville was driving a black pickup truck on Arthur Street and ran into the driver's side of a green minivan that was southbound on 16th Avenue.

Bylsma and the driver of the minivan, 45 year old Steven Robin of Conklin were both killed.  The passenger in the pickup, 81 year old Elizabeth Bylsma was flown to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in critical condition.

Investigators say it is possible alcohol was a factor in the accident, but they will have to look into that further.

WRIGHT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- At least one person is dead and several other people are injured in an accident near Marne.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. Monday at Arthur Street and 16th Avenue in Wright Township.

Dispatchers say they have few details, but confirm reports that at least one person involved in the accident is dead.  Aero Med was also called to the scene to transport a critically injured patient.
