Messy morning commute because of slick roads

(WZZM) - It was a slick and dangerous morning on West Michigan roads Wednesday.

As many as 8 vehicles were involved in three different crashes in the area of the 3100 block of Alden Nash. No one was injured. The roads were slick and a downhill portion of the road was covered with black ice.

Multiple crashes and slide offs occured in other areas as well. There were crashes in Barry County, Ionia County, and northern Kent County.

One accident in Ionia County involved a log truck that rolled over on Hubbardston Road, south of Hubbardston.
