HOLLAND, Mich. (WZZM) - For 34 seasons Hope College's football team has been a tenant at Holland Municipal Stadium. But that is changing and Hope is honoring its greatest coach.

Wednesday, the school announced that is has formally purchased Holland Municipal Stadium and will name it Ray and Sue Smith Stadium, in recognition of the winningest coach in MIAA history.

The stadium underwent its first ever big facelift in 2012 and is now the property of Hope College. It will still let Holland High School use it on Friday nights.
