KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WZZM)- For a third year, Kalamazoo is hosting its annual beer week.
A series of events supporting the craft beer experience kicks off Saturday.
There will be special tastings, dinners, and interactive events.
Over at Bell's Brewery, there will be a snow jog adventure race and challenge.
Teams of two can take part in a running bar crawl where they'll do silly things in a period of three hours to try and win prizes.
Organizers say it's also a good time to taste what Michigan has to offer.
Dir. of Marketing for Bell's Brewery, Laura Bell says, "I think beer week is a great place for breweries to showcase those one-off or those more specialities type beers. I know that we have a lot of beers around town that are not our regular lineup."
She adds, "Kalamazoo is a great community. It's relatively smaller than other cities that have beer week that have been going for a little bit longer but I would put our beer week up against any of them."
Kalamazoo Beer Week runs until Friday, January 18th.
