WEST MICHIGAN -- Old man winter came knocking at doors literally. High wind gusts up to 65 MPH along the lakeshore brought down trees and power lines.

Consumers Energy says at the peak of the storm nearly 75,000 people were affected. They hope to have power restored by late Monday evening.
